In 2024 I came up with a way to create graphic designs on potholder looms with a unique weave structure that shrinks up to create a double thick potholder when you take it off the loom. Just follow the pattern (even if you think it doesn't look quite right), and the image emerges when the weaving comes off the loom.
Note that Eve Unterkoffer's Double Edge Bind Off (AKA DEBO) pairs perfectly with Double Weave. If you choose DEBO, bind off the image color first and then the background color.
These digital downloads in PDF format include Angela's weaving chart, instructions, and additional photos.

Very cute!
This cow is super cute. Just what I was looking for. Thank you!
It's beautiful , but I don't have enough colors of yarn loops to make 1. So I tried to just work with what I have. But I made many errors. So am going to wait so I can buy the loops I need
As a new person to potholder making, I appreciate the free patterns and instructions so I can learn.
Clear & easy to follow instructions.
