In 2024 I came up with a way to create graphic designs on potholder looms with a unique weave structure that shrinks up to create a double thick potholder when you take it off the loom. Just follow the pattern (even if you think it doesn't look quite right), and the image emerges when the weaving comes off the loom.
Note that Eve Unterkoffer's Double Edge Bind Off (AKA DEBO) pairs perfectly with Double Weave. If you choose DEBO, bind off the image color first and then the background color.
These digital downloads in PDF format include Angela's weaving chart, instructions, and additional photos.

So pretty and fun
Beautiful loops! “Bubble Gum” was a little more purple than I thought it would be but very pretty color anyway. I love the hand dyed effect; can’t wait to use
them.
My loops do vary from one batch to another ... here are some suggestions if in doubt about colors: - The photo on the product page is always from the current batch
- Check out the Google album linked on the product page for additional photos
- Request a comparison photo with a specific standard color or combination of current hand dyed colors if that is helpful :)
The pattern for Paw spa was easy to understand and the potholder turned out beautiful.
I’m so happy that I found your information through my potholder group on facebook. The pattern was perfect and it turned out beautifully.
Very cute!
