Refund policy
Please let me know if you are not satisfied with your purchase or have any questions regarding returns, exchanges or refunds.
Hand Dyed Items:
Each item is hand dyed by Angela, and each set within a batch will be unique and vary slightly from the photographed item of the same colorway ... which is exactly what makes my hand dyed items special!
Because I dye in very small batches, sales on hand dyed items are final.
I take care in photographing my products in natural light to ensure a reasonable accuracy and representation of the color and texture of each item. However, due to variations in individual mobile device and monitor settings, I cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your screen will perfectly match your perception of the actual product.
Please reach out to me before purchase for help with color selection or to request additional photos.
Other Items:
I have a 30-day return policy on other items, which means you have 30 days after tracking information indicates receipt of your item to request a return. You can return your product for store credit, exchange or a refund to the original payment method.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.
Please note:
- Discounted and clearance items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Products approved for return (unless deemed faulty or damaged) must be returned in original product packaging and resalable condition with no visible signs of wear or use. Yarns and loops must have the original bag and/or label in place, and yarns must be in the same form (yarns sold in skein form must still be in skein form and not wound into balls or cakes).
- Hand dyed yarns and other hand dyed fibers cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Gift cards are not redeemable for cash or eligible for refunds.
To initiate a return, please contact me with your request, including the product(s) name, invoice or order reference and reason for your return request. After reviewing your request, I"ll let you know how to proceed.

Return parcels should be accompanied by your order number and contact details, (such as your phone number, email address and delivery address).
Postage charges will not be refunded or credited.
- If a parcel qualified for free postage, the standard postage charge of $7 will be deducted from the cost of the yarn being refunded or credited.
- Return postage for exchanges is the responsibility of the customer. I cannot accept any liability for returned goods lost or damaged in return transit and recommend using a tracked delivery service for your return.
- Where product exchange is chosen, the customer is responsible for an additional postage charge for the replacement parcel.
Processing of your store credit, product replacement or refund will occur on receipt and review of your returned parcel/items. Shipment of your replacement item will occur on payment of additional shipping charges.
If items are faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing:
If your order arrives damaged in any way or is incorrect, please email me as soon as possible at mnplatypus.studio@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of any damaged or incorrect item.
Faulty or damaged items may be eligible for a refund, credit, or replacement, depending on the product and specific situation. Because I dye in small batches, it may be impossible to replace hand dyed items with the same colorway.
If a return is approved, I will send you a pre-paid return label for return of the item. If a replacement is agreed upon, it will be provided at no additional cost, including any product, postage, or shipping charges. Products will not be refunded or credited when the problem with the product was caused by misuse or incorrect care and washing.
