Some patterns will indicate different colors. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWeave the horizontal loops from the bottom or top, left or right (whatever is most comfortable and makes sense to you).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUse the long hook that came with your loom, or just your fingers, or a bendy hair clip or safety pin (I prefer a hair clip).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e[-] means the horizontal loop goes over the vertical loop or loops ([ - - - ] means over 3) and [ | ] means the horizontal loop goes under the vertical loop or loops.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe direction of the line on the pattern is the direction of the loop you see on top at that place.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e","products":[{"product_id":"free-potholder-patterns-double-weave","title":"Free Patterns for Potholder Looms - Double Weave","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn 2024 I came up with a way to create graphic designs on potholder looms with a unique weave structure that shrinks up to create a double thick potholder when you take it off the loom.
